Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Okay I want to know about the gym. In my opinion I have 2 options and need help choosing one or the other. So I have come here for the help I want to join someplace without any contracts. Which most places in my area do have contracts that lock you into that price for anywhere from a year to two. My employer has a deal with the gym about 1 mile away from where I work, Its about 10 miles from my house and I have to go through lots of traffic past my work. This place I have been on a tour of, it a has a big space some parking and my job will deduct starting month 3 weekly from my check. It has equipment that is sort of run down in my opinion but the equipment works, Lots of employees work out there so I would have some fun, My husband didnt like the place because it was so out dated he liked option 2. Option 2 All new equipment and I can either pay a yearly or 6 month price. This place is just a gym, it doesnt have any extras like a pool or jacuzzi. Option 1 did. I would have to find the 275.00 for the first 6 months which wont happen till after christmas. This option is only about 6 miles from home, and about 4 from work. So I guess my question to everyone is which do I choose? The one that I could probally join next week and just have it taken out of the paycheck or they one that is closer to home, nicer equipment, and wait to save the money. Also if you have any other suggestions please let me know. Its dark when I come home from work now, and getting colder. I know im slacking on working out already as much as I should, I find its mostly because im tired now that Im working again. Please Help

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | REAL hard situation. PERSONALLY my surgeon doesnt clear people for work outs for three months from date of surgery so that we are completely healed to prevent hernia's We are only suggested to walk during this time. SO i not sure if that helps you. WISH you lived in my area we have a new chain that took over my former gym 10.99 month NO CONTRACTS!!!! its perfect i just got to figure out when i can go! DO you have ladies express or curves chains near you???? they are really good for the money, and very affordable. good luck i think i wasnt much help in this reply.

Height: | Sorry sweetie, but this is a hard one to pick. If you lived close to me you could work out at my gym with me for free since we are allowed one guest per session. My gym is awesome and I love it there, but it does come with the high price tag of signing on a 4 year contract so to speak.....lol. Janae |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | ...the may be three and "0"..... I think I'd choose option 1.... Mainly b/c it doesn't matter about the equipment...you just need a reliable treadmill. AND some weights would be great on a circuit! I know some swim...(Kat don't you swim?)...and it sounds sooo great! I'd think this would be a great workout very low impact. I do agree with Lisa though....My doc said no heavy weights or heavy workout until after 3mos. Of course...I asked, "why?" and he explained that even though you are feeling better it takes about 3mos. for your "INSIDES" to heal in a satisfactory manner. You don't want to cause any problems by going overboard...or lifting weights!! Take it easy ok??? ANYWAY...that's my "opinion"....plus...sounds cheaper, and you can do it now...and seems to be fine for everyone else. (I bet you get a corp. discount...??) Good Luck in the choosing!!

| Super Moderator | So, have you decided which one? As Deb says, though, it's too early out for weights and resistance excercise, so you need to stick to cardio ex unless your surgeon's given you the OK for light weights (which I think not, yet) (((((HUGS)))))
