Default Got my date

Cleveland Clinic called yesterday and my surgery date is 12/8.....how cool is that? My immediate thoughts are am I really doing the right thing.....I know I am but new thoughts and new emotions are flourishing. I guess now it is time to start purchasing needed items and food. All suggestions are welcomed

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congrats! This is an exciting time for you.
I know once I got my date, I wrote down everything in a book, just incase... you know, who the important things go to... yadah yadah yadah
I also made sure I cleaned my house (knowing I'd not have much energy after to do it)... a good cleaning like washing out the frig, organizing storage, cleaning under beds and couches. I think this was a way of preoccuping my time as well.
good luck...

CONGRATULATIONS on the DATE!
how exicting.
ITS a big decision that only you can make.
FOR me as i say a million times...is that
the risks for me walking around at 310 pounds
waiting a heart attack or stroke at any moment
out weighed the risks of surgery. NOW im year
and half post op and had no major complications
and i am down 143 lbs. I have lost an entire person
and im in great health right now.
FOR me this truly saved and added years
to my life expectancy and has DEFINIETLY
increased the quality of life for me.
KEEP in touch and l really look forward
to getting to know you thru your posts.
THIS is a great journey and you can
never have to much support.

AND for me a friend said this to me PRE OP
and i love the saying still:

NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS@
and you will be saying this along your journey!!!

Fantastic!

For me, I wouldn't go out and buy food. Yoy won't even know what you like and a lot of us can testify how much money we wasted on junk we threw away. Not like we're in the desrt or something. Someone can alwaays run to the store. For that matter, go online and order and have delivered.

What I would do, is focus on some Carido. The more you can utulize oxygen, the faster those cruddy drugs get out of your system.

I would also do those cat strethes like pregnant women do for thir backs, and some crunches, not sit-ups. Not hard to do, especially if you're watching the tube. Made a terici difference in me.

And eat protein as much as possible' It promotes rebuilding muscle and tissue.
