Girls (and guys). I really need your help. I'm stuck at 80# lost. I read your posts about inches and I read about our body's adjustment phase... but I HATE being stuck! I've tried changing up my exercising routine... eating a balanced diet vs. mostly protien. I honestly don't know what to do and I'm getting very discouraged. I have my 3 month check up next wednesday and I had set a goal of 85 lbs (with clothes on, so it would be more like almost 90). I will do anything to get 10 more off. Any ideas? Any words of wisdom?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

JUST relax and your body is going to pick up and loose once it adjusts to wear your at. YES these moments are horrible and very frustrating.
WERE you are out time wise is the first major platuae and stall (meaning a literal 4 to 6 weeks of no weight loss. JUST follow your pouch rules, try not to obsess on your scale and its going to be broken thru in good time.
YES its hard
YES its stressful!
YOur sound like you have done all the right things so its just matter of time and your body is going to restart looseing the lbs again.
MY biggest suggestion is up that protein to ensure your body isnt in any starvation modes.
RELAX and enjoy your doing fabulous !!!!

Awwww, (((((HUGS)))))
Hang in there, relax, don't panic, it's difficult, but keep the trust that everything will work out fine in the end.
You know there are stalls, but there also are WHOOSHes, wsit for those to come.

Wink Hey!!!

DON'T PANIC.......

......DON'T PANIC!!!!!!

everything is gonna be A-OK....you are doing fabulous. I know what you mean about these little goal for yourself....but just let me tell you....on the WLS journey...you can only do soooo much.

My 6 mos. Post Op anniversary my Goal was 110#! I saw others do it...and with the 200# I need to loose I thought...perfect...I'm gonna do it.
Well....I've done everything....my body is slowing. The first 3 most I lost 67#.....and then....11....10.....and then 7!! So at my 6mos...I'd only lost 104#. I was sooo bummed!!!

But now, I see it's all fine. I'm gonna loose slower. I've now started thinking...if I only loose 5 lbs a month until my one year - that is another 30#....making it 140 for the year...which is my goal. and then if I keep it up by 18mos. I'll have lost another 30...putting me about 13# away from goal....@ 150!!!

Anyway...kinda have to readjust your expectations of yourself.

I agree with the other bright women. Try not to panic and allow your body to do what it is gonna do. You will be able to tell the difference in your size if not in the numbers nad it will whooshie when you least expect it. I have lots of weeks where I only lose one pound or half a pound and then all of a sudden will lose 5-7 lbs. Try not to stress too much and remember that you are still doing an amazing job and are in this for the long haul. Those short term goals are great to meet or exceed, but they are not the end all. You will lose it as long as you are doing what you need to do. Love ya sweetie.

Default Hey Pug!

My advice to you dear girl is don't sweat it. YOU ARE DOING AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH YOUR WEIGHTLOSS. You are right behind me in post-op and the weight for me is coming off alot slower now. It does get frustrating for me at times and yes obsessive. I don't do anything different though. I am now living a healthy life with my eating and exercising, and that makes me feel dam good. I do see though, when I am not losing weight, the inches are shrinking. It took me forever to lose the last ten pounds, but I feel great already with my weightloss. The wife and I went shopping last night, YES A TYPICAL WOMAN LOL, but these days I will admit, I am just as bad. I tried on a pair of 32 jeans, thinking they would never fit this bod. I just wore 34's. Guess what? They did. I yelled to the wife, HEY, THEY FIT, AND I ACTUALLY HAVE AN A..! GOD, EVERYONE JUST LOOKED. I DIDN'T CARE AT THAT POINT. Eventhough, I did only take off literally, a few pounds, I lost inches. HANG IN THERE KIDDO! I THINK YOU ARE DOING EXCELLENT!

OKAY PUGMAMA....
I been thinking about you all day and this stall your on.
WHAT i was told for stalls and plataues was to have strawberries
and nuts to ur eating.
NOW remember i really never stalled and used this trick when things were
really slowing down. was IT MY KEY? I DONT KNOW.

PERHAPS give it a try for snack and see if it helps you!
JUST remember people told me to try that and i did.

GOOD LUCK!
let me know
thanks

I dont see why you cant try frozen as long as you make sure
no sweetners were added in the processing processes!

I dont know for sure if strawberries or nuts truly worked for me,
but i never platued or stalled till now but now its more my eating
then anything else. SO i believe it might have helped.

GIVE IT A try and i believe the WHOOSHIE family will visit
you!

good luck
