Ok I have news that I have to share. First of I have to state that I believe that the person who raises you loves you and takes care of you is a parent rather they gave birth to you or not. I am adopted so I see things this way. My husband has a step son from his previous marriage. He is the only father that this boy knows as dad. He was there for what was important. When his ex wife took off she took him and last year the now a young man found him and they reconnected. At first that was hard for me being the new wife and I was a little scared that the ex wife would cause problems but she wants nothing to do with her son and has in a way disowned him. In fact he told my husband he wished I was his mom since I have been so good to his dad. Well on Monday I became a grandma to a beautiful baby girl 6 pounds 9oz 21 inches long. Her name is Brooke. That makes me a really young grandma so I think I like the name nana or me maw. We are very happy with the beautiful gift we have all been given. I am going to love this child and spoil her as well. Well I hope everyone has a great day.

Oh wow.There is Nothing in this world to compare to grand kids. You get to spoil them and then send them home. In my case they keep coming back tho and I love it. That is really great news. I am also a step grandma and I see no difference in my grand kids. Love them all the same.
