Default Bad eating habits?

Okay folks, here's a question for everyone:

What, if any, bad eating habits have you changed or are trying to change?

I have changed the following:

No more eating in the car - I have a long commute and had a bad habit of eating while driving. Chips, bagels, fast food. No more. Now when driving, I grab my bottle of water and sip away.

No more fast food - I was never a big fast foodie, but, I would occasionally stop at a drive thru on my way home and pick up some fries or a burger for the drive home, especially if I had skipped lunch or something. I haven't had any fast food since about 2 months before surgery - so about 5 1/2 months.

No more grazing - I used to have a bag of chips or cookies or candies at my desk. I would eat all day long, all sorts of crap and sometimes even some good stuff, like carrots. But it was just all mindless grazing. I would often skip meals because I was just noshing all day. Now, I keep a bag of soy chips at my desk, but rarely eat them. I might have a few with my lunch or something, but not in between meals like before.

Mindless eating - I used to eat in front of the tv or computer. Not paying any attention to what I was actually eating, it didn't even really matter. Just something to keep my mouth occupied (this got worse when I stopped smoking about 5 years ago). Now I watch everything that I eat. I don't eat at my computer and I don't eat while watching tv.

I'm sure there are more that I can't think of right now and I'm sure many of you have other habits that you are trying to change. Please share!!!!

i guess i have just become more conscous of everything
i now eat, i read and study the labels if its to many carbs, sugars or sugar alcohols i dont eat it.

SO i have given up ALL JUNK foods and now officially eat healthier. I do have structured snacks in my day and
i keep out of that constant grazing thing which working in the home i can do but wont.
NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS

You need to market a line of products with that saying. Maybe some refrigerator magnets? Maybe a t-shirt or wall plaque? Lol....I told my hubby your saying and he liked it. He thinks it is awesome. One major change I will have to make is eating slower. I bought some new chopsticks at the Asian Food Market today and look forward to using them. I love taking the kids to the Asian Food Market when my hubby is at his fave hobby store. The kids and I love looking at the weird variety of seafood they have on hand, many of it alive. There was a large barrel of crabs there today and I thought that they were dead until one moved its claw. Then I noticed that one of them was blowing bubbles through it's mouth. Okay, so many of you are probably wondering where this is going, and I will tell you. Nowhere! I just find the weirdest smallest things amusing. LOL.
