| Super Moderator | Hi all, now that many of you are at a place that you have lotsa choices than before when it comes to dressing up (or dressing down if you please), what about some fashion talk?! For those of you who are yet to get on the start line, what would you like when you do get on the loser's bench? So, what's your fav style, color, what would you like to dress in, now that you have more choices? Do you love to dress up fancy or do you prefer a simple and easy style? What kind of clothes make you feel good, what kind makes you feel comfortable with who you are. There is soooooo much to talk about. Oh, yeah, as a byline. Sometimes it's so hard to figure out what color and style suits you--this can be different from what you like. Here's a color analysis site that may help you figure things out some. I had a simpler system of this done about 10 years ago, and it has made choosing things easier for me, especially when I don't have the time to check everything out. Oh, forgot to say, I am Autumn, Deep Autumn. So which season are you? Soooo, let's talk about fashion!!! ![]() Last edited by DocSanae : 11-17-2006 at 12:51 PM. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | According to your survey answers, you are a Clear Spring. Golden, delicate tones suit you best. Here is a partial list of Clear Spring colors: Navy, light grey, charcoal, black, mint, light clear gold, pastel yellow green, clear teal, hot turquoise, true blue, purple, warm pastel pink, clear red, hot pink.Do you wear these colors well? If the answer is yes, consider purchasing a CLEAR SPRING swatchpacket. The color swatches reflect the hue, value, and intensity that look best on you. Stick with the colors and not only will your wardrobe blend, but you'll save on clothing purchases. INTERESTING SITE! NOW as far as me...i prefer nice jeans...and nice tops with accent jewlry to match! I am lost in my style right now. AS i stated in another thread i think i need to mature up my style. I sure need the help from that show WHAT NOT TO WEAR! WOULD love to be ambushed and helped out. MY tastes go to the young styles that i think im to old for but bye anyway!

| Super Moderator | Personally, I don't think you need to limit your wardrobe and avoid "young" styles because of your age. What matters most is what you like and what you look good in. Of course, the two don't necessarily match, so you have to try things out until you can find your style. Shopping with fashion savvy friends help a lot. In the top page of the site I linked, there is some more stuff to give you a general idea of how to pick some things. Of course, this isn't everything, but it is a starting point, if you have had no clue up to now, or didn't care before. C'mon, everyone, treat yourself, you know you have worked hard to reclaim your health, so, utilize what you have to the maximum!! ![]() |

| I took Doc's advice today and treated myself to some new clothes. I went into a store to get some pantyhose and ended up signing up for the store's credit card. I got 20% everything and an extra 25% off things that were on sale. It really felt good to find some pretty things. I will get someone to take some pictures of me in them. I had a great time!!! I also got some Christmas shopping done. Getting presents this early is a first for me. What a good feeling.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Thanks for the fashion idea! I will visit the site. I know I feel better and prettier and I am no where near my goal! I even wear makeup every day and I never bothered before. Even if it is to just flirt with my husband and hear the kids say what a pretty mommy they have, it is worth it!!
