Well I went to my appointment today and all was well The physician's assistant said the 20lbs I lost was water weight ( what a kill joyLOL) and that I should expect to lose about 2 lbs a week. That sounds like someone who has not had surgery having a weightloss rate of 2lbs /week. Is that true? She also gave me permission to drive but I have been doing that already cause I didn't take narcotics. My incisions look pretty awesome. So I go back in a month. Hopefully I'll be able to exercise then. I'm pretty happy

That lady is such a buzz kill isnt she. I know when I went back to work the first day the DR I worked for asked me how much was a down. I said 52 pounds. I was out 8 weeks. He said oh I bet you lost all that in the hosptial. I looked puzzled and he said you know keeping food from ya. Burn.......................ohhh i burned. Honey you gained weight in the hosptial from fluids. And you have already let that loose and the pounds are real pounds. Love em that dont know a thing about what really happens.

I averaged a little over 4 pounds a week for seven months. I'm sure it was higher earlier and lower later, though, as I coasted in to a soft landing at my final destination. Your loss history will be what it will be, regardless of some PA who's never been there. Some weeks it'll make you happy, and some weeks it'll bring you down, but as long as the trend is losing, you'll do just fine, whatever the rate is!
Enjoy the ride!!

I think you got a good weight loss. You keep up the terriff job. Everybody loses weight differently, just enjoy the weight loss and before you know it you will have lost lots of weight. Just think where you will be a year from now,a totolly new person and you will hardly recognize yourself.
