Default pre-op liquid diet

Good morning all. Well tomorrow I begin my liquid diet for 2 weeks. This has me worried a bit. Who has gone through this? I suppose you can drink all the propel you want.....right? Are you expected to just drink 3-4 protein shakes everyday? Can I have 2% or 1% milk? Eggs? f anyone can provide some input I would be grateful.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi Knight, here's a link to a thread about pre-op liquid diets.
I know there are a couple more somewhere, but I need to do some digging.
You may find what you are looking for in the Stupid Qs forum.

Is your date 2 weeks from now, then?
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery and uncomplicated recovery.

I had a liquid diet for two days and that was hard enough. Check with your doctor on the eggs and stuff... Hang in there! It's soooooooooooooo worth it!

I had the liquid diet for 10 days. I could have all the water I wanted, along with sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles. I was allowed to have some yogurt too. But you need to check with your sugeon to see what they allow
