I had my appointment with the dietician today but they called yesterday to reschedule it, which means they had to respedule my surgeons appointment too. Damn.... Now I can't see the surgeon until Oct 19 instead of Sept 30.... another bump in the road on my journey, first the speep apnea now this delay. I keep reading everyone post and looking at all the great pictures posted and I "want it yesterday" It seems like there are alot of surgeries this week and I wish everyone the best of luck. I am learning so much from everyone at least I will be prepared when my time does come. thanks for listening to me whine...

Yes, the delays can be disappointing. Try to keep your eye on the prize...at some point your surgery will happen & you'll join the loser's bench!

Ahh the reschudle thing. I hate that. Its ok honey. I belive everything happens for a reason so... your time is comming. I understand the I want it yesterday I myself was like that also. Hang in there darlin it will happen when its supposed to.

I started my WLS journey in the middle of January 2009 by going to a seminar. I didn't get my surgery until August 2009. I was so disappointed by early spring. I just wanted to start losing weight because I was so frustrated with the constant gaining. I had my nut and psyc. apt in early February. My psyc didn't return his results until May that was my holdup. But in the end I am really glad that happened because had he returned his results in a timely manner I probably would have had my surgery before my mom died which would have been horrible to travel almost 1,000 miles to attend her funeral. So long story short every thing happens for a reason.
