Robinn I hear ya, I am dragging and even trying to get naps in and they don't seem to help. I went to my rhumatalogist today and he took a full blood panel scan and I should have all the results by Friday. Definitely get it checked out! Have a merry Christmas! Let me know how you make out!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

At my one month follow up visit after my GBS my surgeon gave me a prescription for VB12. He instructed me to give myself an injection of 1 cc once a month which I have done since. When he tested my VB12 levels at 6 mos post-op all was well. I kind of took me by surprise when I read that many of you don't take injections on a regular basis, and that you have to go to the Doctor's office to get them. Is it unusual for your surgeon to allow you to give yourself the injections?

I know I when I had gestational diabetis I gave myself shots but I have never heard of someone giving themselves B-12 shots. I hope if I have to my doctor will let me give them to myself. Glad to hear it might be an option.

I go to my doctor next month and will have all of my blood work from my surgeon and although they might want to do a follow up I hope they use those to get me started and then go from there.
I have been taking suppliment for now in hopes that they will help boost my level a little bit till I get there.
I have noticed though alot more energy since and my son even made comment on why I am walking so fast going through the market the other day. I didn't notice...hehehe.
One day at a time., and you know I do not know if I could give myself injections, but then if I had to I would learn. It sure would be more conveniant.

Take care...robbin

HEY ROBBIN! PERSONALLY i am 100 percent with you
on that one, I could not give myself injections, and
will not put that ever on my husband again. He did
injections for me for infertility treatments.
I use the nasal spray NASCOBAL for all my vitamin
B needs and its the best or me at this time.
A working mom that works 12 hour days and still
has her family of 3 to tend has trouble getting
to the doctor montly for the shots so this
nasal spray worked for my life schedule!

GOOD LUCK!
and maybe your fine on the vitamin B.
MY levels have been checked in depth and there
fine but due to numbness in my hands and feet
they are keeping it safe and dont want me to run
lo and have diffuculty bringing me to a normal range.
