Height: | Okay so welcome to life as a military spouse this week...lol. First I was stressed out over my mother in law coming this January to see us and how that was going to work out when my hubby told me good news....it wasn't going to happen. Bad news...it is because they just upped his deployment to him leaving on JANUARY 5TH!!!!!! OMG... I am not doing too good on my eating today and am trying to stay out of the kitchen. He is leaving in three weeks for the desert and to the more dangerous area they wanted to send him to in the first place... AAAAACCKKK!!! I am so grateful that I took the time to go to the spouses meeting last week so that I know more women to help me here. The worst part is that this means we are turned down for vacation yet once again. He and I will hopefully still get the 7 days off before he goes that was promised him for the New Year's Holiday, but that is just cuz you either get that or Christmas off. He is working through Christmas this year. I sure hope nothing spoils us going to NYC for NYE or I will KILL someone or something at this point. Okay so thanks for letting me vent and there are some benefits to this happening, I am just kinda in shock right now since he wasn't supposed to leave until late March. At least when he gets back we will have some summer left. So yes Trashman it is probably a good thing you aren't my neighbor right now...lol. You my dear would be too tempting...hehehe. Janae |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | WOW your being tested to the max right now. YOUR going thru alot and I am sorry they moved his deployment date up so much on you. HANG in there and enjoy the weeks ahead till then! ALSO, proly a wrong time to suggest but maybe when your with so much stress like this you can turn to excerise verses eating. TRUTHFULLY i know its easier said then done, and I dont make the right choices myself, I am still learning too but during my weight management councling i took last spring that was strongly recommended to me to do. ANYWAY im sorry your goin thru this you have alot on your shoulders with holidays and now early deployment.

| Super Moderator | Awwww, Janae, (((((((HUGS))))))) This must be a very difficult time for you, but I am sure you will be given the strength to get through while he is deployed. Keep your chin up, and hang in there, I'll be keeping you and your hubby in my prayers.

Height: | Thank you everyone for your encouragement and well wishes. And Lisa I appreciate your suggestion and it is already in place right now. I have made the lucky acquaintance of a wonderful guy online that has chosen to grace our website that helps keep me motivated to keep moving. His name is Kyle and he is a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer. I believe that God worked his magic in bringing me this new friend to help me out with my workout and that he will be a good friend for me. I hope that when you see NCPTGUY around the board that you treat him well as I expect you will. He is very legitimate and I believe has a lot of great advice to offer. Side note to Kyle, yes I am doing my crunches on my ball like a good girl... janae |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Pillows, Well, I know what you are feeling. I too am a military spouse, but more importantly, I was a soldier until 2 months ago! I have been to Iraq twice! for a year at a time. But now I am just a spouse, and it is a lot different on this side of the situation. I always was deployed with my husband, and I went to the field the same time he did, so if you EVER need to talk, or just someone to listen, I will be more than happy to lend an ear. The best advice I can give you at this point is, no news is good news. I know it sounds harsh, but it is reality. I will be praying for you and your hubby, and don't forget... God is ALWAYS in control. Hope you have a good Christmas anyway, just enjoy the time you have with him now, and it will be over before you know it! HUGS
