Default Favorite Foods Post OP?

I was sitting around today with a little to much time on my hands. I started to think about things i used to eat and things i eat now. Below are some of my favorite foods now one year post op. Just thought i would share and i am curious to what your new foods are as well...

Pizza. Pizza remains my favorite food in the whole world. I have a pizza shop right here that serves a very thin crust pizza so i can enjoy it and not feel bad having it.

Strawberries plays in a very close second. Love anything with strawberries in it, espically fresh sweet ones with a little equal or splenda.

Popcorn. I enjoy eating lite popcorn almost daily.

Not a food but COFFEE is a very important part of my every day from the time i open my eyes to the time i go to bed. LOL I do add protein powder to some of my cups so it turns out to me my protein drink.

Not a big fan of water however do enjoy crystal lite and diet snapple.

Vitamins of choice for me are Viactive multivitamins and Citrical calcium chews. Feels like i am having candy!

Ok thats just a few of my favorites. What are yours????

LittleLisaMarie

Happy New Year 2007!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I have found if you put crushed ice in with your sugar free carnation instant breakfast and cup of skim milk, shake it really really good, you can almost make that 'cardboard fiber taste' disappear.

Ooohhh how I would LOVE to have a taste of pizza!!

Smoked salmon for me. I eat it both cold or hot smoked, it's low in calories, filling and has a ton of protein.

Default Hey Lisa

WELL, I have to say that tomatoes are my best friend. I eat them at breakfas, lunch, dinner. EVERYTHING. NEXT, would have to be anything hot and spicy. The hotter the better. I have craved that sort a food since surgery. I can't get enough of that sorta stuff. I was scared right away to try the spicy stuff, but I did. AND, never had problem with it. I THANK THE GOOD LORD ABOVE FOR THAT. LOL I would have hated giving up my spicy foods. Thanks for thinkin of that one lisa.

Well first of all thanks for this post lisamarie...
can't agree enough with you about the pizza, lite popcorn, and the strawberries!

Kat I'm really impressed about how much fish you eat a day, I was never a seafood eater but trying tuna fish as a salad or a filling in a sandwich or jacket potato never killed me in Leeds hehehe

Mike, spicy food was and is still my fav. especially with the fajitas!! yum yum actually my fav. dish in chillies is the trio fajita (Steak, chicken and shrimps) ohh I miss eating at decent restaurants. I had one couple meals in the Hard Rock cafe and in one of the Italian rest. but they were meatless because they're not halal food (not butchered the Islamic way!) SO I crave for a pepper corn steak with mushroom gravey yum yum anyway I'll be back home in a flash.

I loved the most the fresh berries fruit salad that love to prepare here in Leeds because back in Kuwait it's very tough to get any of the ingredients except for the strawberries they're available almost all of the year. OK po here is the ingredient: black berry, blur berry, raspberries, strawberries some times I add grapes and banana

Water drinking I wasn't always good with it but I'm trying but I love to add lemonade crystal lite to my mineral water bottle that would be a yum!

I was and still a cheese lover all type of cheese: moz, white goat cheese, cheddar, parmesan, Gouda, any... except for the blue cheese eekhh!
