I'm so glad your words of wisdom came to me this weekend or my eating would have been disasterous. My family had hotdogs with the works and chips for dinner on saturday, and I struggled trying to stay on track with "good" food choices. I tried bocca mushroom burger, took one bite and left it sitting on the plate. Still unsatisfied, I caught myself grazing, searching thru the cabinets for something that tasted good instead of what was good for me. Then it hit me... Vickie said if you really really want a hamburger, eat one. So I fixed my hotdog on a regular bun with chilli sauce and mustard, cut it in half, took my time and enjoyed it! Man was it good! It hit the spot, ended the need to graze, and left me smiling. (found out I don't like chips anymore, that's a good thing!) In the past, I would have beat myself black and blue for "giving in" like that,
but because of your wise advice I'm guilt free, and ready to move on with this lifestyle. Man I love you guys!!
