I, think that most of their courage comes from others telling them they can sing (friends,co-workers), etc....
This gives this little boost to allow them to go for it...But, all I can do for the poor souls (sorry to say this) , sit back and laugh my arse off ....some you have to feel sorry for..others you just say Oh! god..lol
