Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Hi Beckamarie.....thank you for your post! I am doing loads better everyday. I got home late Thursday and progress has been slow but it gets better each day. The syrgery itself took 6 hours....they had problems with the staple gun and intubation but they were wonderful to me and spoiled me rotten. I found the hardest part of the post op was just getting in/out of bed but like I said each day it got easier. I am up and around now....but only for short periods. This morning I took a shower and it was like heaven. Thanks alot for all your wonderful posts Mike....you are very encouraging and you have helped me a great deal. You all have been wonderful....I can't say it enough!! Love you guys! Valerie****
