Default I am discouraged

i was to have a panniculectomy (lower tummy tuck) done last Thursday, apparently according to the plastic surgeon my hemoglobin levels are a little low, not meeting his criteria to do the surgery. They told me to see my family Dr to be put on iron pills, so therefore thought it was my iron. I have been taking the iron pills twice a day and am so constipated, i am even taking a stool softener which isnt helping. they rescheduled it to tomorrow. Which i had a repeat blood test last night and they canceled my surgery once again due to blood test again......rescheduled to Feb 13. I was on the phone today with my family Dr and when she did my pre op physical my blood test was fine....so i am confused...it turns out I may have B12 deficiency...i had to have more blood work done tonight so they can find out the real reason behind this...i just want to have this done...i have already made other people change their plans 2 weeks in a row....this is so frustrating.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Default Aww Hunter!

I can imagine how frustrating this must be for you. Hang in there. It will happen. With the vitamin B12, my surgeon made it sound imperative that I take it for the rest of my life. So I do. Just like my multi vitamins each day. I would check into that. LET US KNOW.

Even if you are taking all your vitamins and supplements as required, deficiencies can happen, because how much your body will actually absorb is going to be different with each person. That's why even if you are taking everything, you need blood work done on a regular basis. Even if your blood work has been fine up to now, something can come up to disrupt it the next time, so it's best to always keep your guard up, and cover all your tracks.
I hope you'll be able to get this problem resolved soon and have your TT done.
