Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Does it ever stop? Ok, so today I woke up, and I have NO voice! I started sneezing Friday night, and nothing else, but last night I felt like I had something stuck in my throat, so I kept trying to clear it, but there was nothing in there, so when I woke this morning, I couldn't talk. So the day goes by like nothing, and my voice is scratchy, but getting better. My friend is coming by 3 times a day to re-pack my incision, (she is an RN). She told me yesterday and today that she was really tired, and has a headache. Well, when she left at 3:30 today, her friend called her to tell her that her kids have STREP! And guess what? her kids spent the night at my friends house friday night with her kids. SOOOO..... she loaded up her kids and brought them to the hospital to get tested, none of her kids have it, but SHE DOES!!!!! and she has been changing my dressings!!!!!! So I have to see the doc tomorrow, and I have to get tested for strep... hope i dont have it, and i hope whatever it is that i have will go away soon, cause it makes me feel like crap! I just wish I could heal and be done with all this stuff. PS. I get to have eggs on Friday!!!! wooooo HOOOOO!!!!

| Super Moderator  |  Awwww, ((((((((HUGS))))))))) With you still recovering from your surgery, your defenses are weaker than usual, so every precaution counts. Are you running a fever as well? Usually, with strep throught, you run a pretty high fever as well. So, if you have fever, it could be strep, if not, it could be just plain laryngitis from a bug. Even if it is strep, antibiotics should do a good job. ((((((((HUGS))))))))

CLASSIC strep will start with vomitting and at the early healing stage you dont need to have that part! I am sure all will be fine and some antibiotics will rid it. YOUR in my thoughts and it was great gabbin yesterday!!!! (((HUG)))))!!!
