Height:   |  Dead Frog Okay, so I had to kill some time in Philadelphia with my husband and kids while we waited for my brother to call and tell us he was back at his hotel so we went to Walmart. My husband was looking in the automotive section as usual, and I wandered over to the fabric department to look at pattern books. I heard two employees, one male, one female, discussing how inconsiderate, disgusting, rude and thoughtless customers were since there was a spill of glitter on the floor in the fabric depart. I kid you not, they were griping about it for over five minutes, then silence. Finally two minutes later the male said that he was so sick of looking at it that he had to get up and move, not get up and clean it, no just move so he wasn't looking at it.  They started to use their walkie talkies to try to con someone else into cleaning it, and I went to find my husband. We had a good laugh about how they were freaking out about nothing when my hubby showed me something pretty freaking cool. Since the store was located by a river a frog had managed to get into the store and obviously got trapped by the steering wheel covers. It was there on the shelf that the frog was dead and completely dehydrated. It was one of the most psychotic looking possessed animals I have ever seen.  It looked pretty evil and mad. I wanted to go and tell the employees about the frog, but my husband told me not to. I then wanted to take a picture since I had brought my camera to take pictures of my brother, but he vetoed that too. Well, now I really wish that I had taken a picture of the frog, cuz it was really cool. Long story short, next time I will take the picture anyway, cuz what are the odds of that happening to me twice? hehehe....Janae |

Height: | You know, in Idaho we had our share of lazy walmart employees, but it seems like most of the stores in general and not just walmart here in the east are more dirty, disorganized, and lacking in customer service. I don't know why, but that seems to be the case. I would love to be a fly on the wall witnessing the discovery of the dead frog by the female in the fabric department though, that would be really funny. hehehe....My visit went well and will have to tide me over until I can go home this fall. So would you have taken the picture if given the chance, or is this just me? Janae |
