Default gallbladder ultrasound

Just wanted to let you all know that this morning I'm having an ultrasound done on my gallbladder. It has given me problems before but I've been in lots of pain the last few days so they want to take a look at it. I'll keep you up to date on what they find. They said I would know as soon as the ultrasound was done today.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Bren,

I'm really sorry that you're having the gallbladder pains..I had them before and the're the worst in this life!!!

I hope you'll get the ultra sound results soon, please keep me posted.

All I can tell you is that thanks to the RNY surgery that I had because I did 3 procedures in one: removed the old gastric band, removed the gallbladder "had 9 stones", and did the bypass! and since then I didn't have any abdomenal pain!

Let me know how things would go..you're in my thoughts

Love,
Hanadi

Hi all, thanks for all the support. I will be having my gallbladder removed on the 15th of March. The doc said I had several stones. I just hope I don't have much more pain between now and the 15th.

Bren...
Just wanted to wish you all the best with your upcoming surgery... hopefully the wait till then will not be too long, or painful. I know what it is like to wait for a surgery when you are in pain. It can be difficult.

Best of luck and prayers for a speedy recovery...

AWW BREN im so sorry you have to go thru this!!!(((HUGS))) and lots and lots of prayers will be with you for this surgery.

I am sorry this happened.
MY surgeon debated to take out my gallbladder at the time
of my bypass we opted that morning not to. I got more concerned
that that insurance wasnt approved and didnt need to be stuck
with any bills!

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted

This is one of the things that seem to plague GBS post ops.
I suppose you will be having the surgery lap.
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you that you won't have any more pain before the surgery, and keeping you in my prayers and thoughts that your surgery and recovery be smooth and easy.

Good Morning, Thanks everyone.
Yes Doc the surgery is going to be LAP and I will get to go home the same day. Well at least it will start out LAP if any complications he said it could become an open belly. But that isn't going to happen.
This is a common problem with GBP but it hasn't changed my mind I would do it all over again. It feels so good to be down 90+Lbs and to have people actually pay attention to me now.
I'll keep you all posted and I too pray there isn't much pain between now and the surgery.
