Unhappy My insurance denied weight loss surgery

My insurance denied wls today. I saw my pcp dr and he told me not to worry about it. He says that i've been losing weight rather quickly and that i may not have to do the surgery after all if only i lost an extra 50 lbs to get down to 240. My weight scale is 140-155. I was in 291, I'm not sure how much i have lost this week. But, I feel good in a way but a bit lost and confused at the same time. I think I can do it without wls if i try harder. It's only in my mind to set the goal. I think the ball is in my court.

I need advice from my friends!!!! I feel today. I think I'm catching a real bad cold.

Lol

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Awww.((((((HUGS))))))))
If you can do it the conventional way, and stay there, that is very good for you.
It would help you more if you could get counseling on why and when you overeat, to discover triggers that cause you to turn to food, so you will be able to control your eating better, and help you keep at the desired weight.

Another thing you could do, is find out why exactly your insurance denied you. It may have been some sort of technicality, just that the wording of the documents didn't meet their criteria and such. You have to write documents in insurance speak for them to understand. A lot of people get denied a number of times before they finally get approval.

Even if you are doing your journey without the surgery, please keep us posted on your progress, and tell us of your woes and trimphs.

(((((((HUGS)))))) May your journey go well.

You gals are the best!!! Thank you for the kind words and the help you all are giving me. I definitely will take your advices. But yeap, wls is excluded from my insurance. I know of some other people that have wanted to do the wls and they could not go thru it because of the exclusion. But, I'm not giving up! With or without the wls, I'm still dropping the pounds.

Lol,
