Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Some Info today So I called and talked to the lady at the Hospital where I will be getting the surgery. I have an appointment on the 29th to attend the seminar that is mandintory for the surgery then on the 9th of April I meet with the dietician, psycologist and the internal medican doctor from there who know but she did tell me that if I follow the rules to a t I could get the surgery by June....so WOOHOO for me because that sure in the heck beats the 18 months to 3 yrs at the military doctors. And I also just quit smoking. I had quit a year ago and started back a few months ago but I have once again laid them down and am for real done with them |

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.  |

| Super Moderator  | Congratulations, and also good for you that you quit smoking, as that can throw a kink in your route, most surgeons require that you quit smoking prior to surgery because of the effect it can have on your breathing and anesthesia. Please keep us posted on your progress and when you get your date. (((((((HUGS)))))) May your journey go well.
