Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Why, thank you, both of you, and my compliments right back to you.
Both of you are doing so great on your journey.
You may feel stuck right now, but your pictures are lovely, two wonderful classy ladies, and a great testimony to how committed you are to this journey.
May it go well, (((((((HUGS)))))))

P.S. This pic was taken a couple of Christmases ago, at a party where the theme was "Music from Movies" (this was at a jazz bar--Craig's favorite night spot when he's in Tokyo) and I was dressed up as the lady doc Jennifer Jones played (dang, can't remember the name) from "Love is a Many Splendored Thing". Yep, somebody sang that song....

Hey Doc, have you ever seen the musical Flower Drum Song? I loved that movie growing up but haven't seen it since I moved away. One of these days I will find it on tv and record it, but for now I will have to try to remember it on my own. I will confess that I love older movies like Marilyn Monroe, Rock Hudson, and Doris Day. When I am really miserable it is those movies that I turn to.

I'm a sucker for musicals. No, I haven't seen Flower Drum Song, though. Ummm, let's see, Nancy Umeki, I think was the actress. She never really made it big.
Yep, the movies from yester years seem to be of much better quality than what we get these days, but then, modern movies have their own import, too. I guess it's whether you prefer reality, or fantasies that will let you dream for an hour or so. After a busy and hard day, fun movies are best for me, to give my mind a rest, and refresh. Movies with serious themes give me lots to think about and these are fine when I am in a meditating mood.
Love Calamity Jane, BTW. Lemme see, what else do I have in my pile of fav DVDs....

I'm also a great animation fan, love the old Disney classics, and I also love Hayao Miyazaki's films. Ever heard of him? His "Spirited Away" received the Oscar for Animation a few years back. His "Howl's Moving Castle" was up for this years', but was beat out by Wallace and Gromit, which was expected.

So, maybe we should start, a "What's your fav movie" thread.

Go to Help->Tech Qs-> Posting Your Avatar.
I have put the info there.
Some people seem to have a glitch, though.
Good luck!

Yeah, I haven't heard of the people that you mentioned except for Nick Park's Wallace and Grommitt. I bought the Wallace and Grommitt videos when I was in high school, before he made Chicken Run and started to get noticed. My husband's friend from work just bought Chicken Little and we watched it with him while the kids were asleep. It is funny, but you don't usually think of males in their 20's bringing over a cartoon to watch at their friends house. It was actually a lot funnier than I thought. I love light hearted movies lately. I can't seem to concentrate on much more depth than a romantic comedy right now. I record a lot of movies onto dvd with our dvd recorder so that if we ever have to get rid of our cable I have plenty to watch. I think a new movie/entertainment section would be fun and interesting. I tried earlier to get people to tell me about the music that inspires them, but nobody took the bait. Love hearing from you as always Doc.

Hey, Shelly, you sure brighten up the place!

Well, you can get hooked on animations, Janae, and when you think of the people who actually make thooose things, I don't think it's much of a surprise that men in their 20s or 30s or even older enjoy them.

Hey there Doc; it's great to put a face to a name. I'll have a picture pr-op of myself to put in soon.
I have some memory problems so i don't remember alot of stuff like movies and names of actors and such but sometimes something will stick. Give me a good musical any time! Have you seen Chicogo? My favorite part was when they did a "dummy" scene with the lawyer (I think it was richar gere) the murderess (can't remember her name), and the newspaper press. Actually i loved it from begining to end. I would definately suggest watching it.
Oh and just so everybody knows my favorite music is christian rock. It rocks! hehe
