I dont know about anyone else but i am SO DONE with Winter.....That taste of spring last week was so nice. TOday it is such a wintery mess, hate it..But i do have to say once again, had to bring kiddies to school so i got my exercise in pushing the double stroller through the slush..See i always try to find the positive in the negative....I really got a great workout today. Needed the stroller because the wind was to much for the little ones and the hail hurt comming down...had to cover them up lol...Softball was supposed to get going tomorrow now thats cancelled...
OK SO ENOUGH WITH THE MESS ALREADY powers that be! Ok i feel bettter now lol.......Stay warm.

Whaddayaknow, we had our first snow for this winter season yesterday!!!!So, it was only a flurry, but,  
This, after we had our first spring storm a couple of weeks ago

I cant wait till the warmer weather is here to stay. My dog buster and I really need to get back to our walks. Also my folks got my a bike last year so looking forward to using that to. I like living in Iowa but sure dont like the snow and cold anymore..lol

yesterday morning on the way into the city was not so bad...then coming home....was difficult pushing the stroller up the slope TWO LONG blocks ~ whew! Was I worn out! I'm feeling out of shape.....
Thankfully Russ' school is doing a 3 week fitness challenge...and I'm going to do it with Russ.....I need to get on a roll with working out. I started a few weeks back...and then when all my guests were in town I 'petered' out!
Anyway....I also shoveled 2x's yesterday around my stoop...and did our neighbors as well.....
TODAY....I shoveled the other neighbors....the WHOLE CORNER....whew!!! it was quite a task (as the Landlord of that building doesn't seem to keep it up!!) I was trying to create a path from the corners so we could cross the street! (it's a mess here...for whatever reason the drainage is not happening....and there is a huge mess of SLUSH around the corners of my block!) I spent an hour and half shoveling....whew...I feel it in the muscles across my shoulders! WOW!
Thankfully we are going to be in the high 40's & 50's next week....one day is forecasted as 60!!! Hooray!!!

It's been a mess here in KY as well! I love winter, but I'm really ready for some flowers and green trees. I planted a pink dogwood back in the fall and am anxious to see it bloom!

i can't wait for nice weather either it been cold here. the day i go in for my surgery on wed march 21 it will be 50 out and i will not be able to enjoy the whole time am in hospital it. it going 45-50 degrees the day i go home cause doctor said about 3-4 days i be there well then it drop back down to 24 degrees for high and 11 degrees for low we still haven't got are st patrick day storm though.

Where do you live in Michigan?? My DH is from just south of Traverse City.... Also, Tweety - from here on the board is also from Michigan...just thought you should know...so you could contact her. SHE is a wonderful woman...and has has MUCH success with WLS....and is such an encouragement! You'll love meeting her if you ever get the chance....I met her for the first time this past Christmas!
