 |  GRRRRR so sick of pain
i know, i know...everyone tells me to go to the doctor...im so sick of trying to talk to my doctor....since my GB surgery like 3 weeks ago, i have this found pain in my rib cage on the right side, similiar to where my GB surgery was.....not gas pains or anything like that...and it aches in my back the same on that side. if i bend forward, or cough or sneeze itis like someone is pinching my ribcage and it burns......does that sound like a hernia or adhesion....? or could it really still be from my galbladder surgery....i i didnt have this pain right after surgery....im starting to wonder if the surgeon took my galbladder or just emptied the stones and left it there......i mean seriously.....i know that a doctor here will just say, "oh its from surgery" and if i go to my surgeon, he will say "lets open you up".....he likes to do that....that is his theory for EVERYTHING......i just want to feel normal.....help...

I had my gb removed years ago but I don't remember having that pain. It felt so much better after it was out. I think your doctor should really hear what you are saying and try to find out what is wrong. I sure hope you feel better soon and find out what the problem is.

You really should have a dr check you out on this. It coule be adhesion, or it could be something else, but there is no way to figure out what's going with out a personal examination, not online guessing.

well i decided to "man up" once again, and i have to drive all the way back to my surgeon, and that is an hour and a half away. that makes me mad.....Its Essentia health and we have them here in town, but the surgeon that i go to is only Bariatric and they dont do the bariatrics here in town....so lucky me i guess.

UPDATE: abso-frickin-lutely NOTHING was found out yesterday... i drove 3 hours round trip for the surgeon ASSISTANT to thump on my belly and listen to my heart....she didnt do shit for me....im SOOOOO frustrated with this situation, i feel like people think im making it up. well the PA that i saw is new and doesnt know me at all...she took over for the PA that was through my surgeries and then she retired the day after my GB surgery....she also said that she thought that i should take some NSAID's...and of course i told her "NO"...becuz i was always told NOT to....she just didnt know anything and i feel like i am being cheated......i dont know, i know the pain is real and noone can help me........

Ok, I have to just say I would be SOOOOO pissed off right now too!! I couldn't imagine driving an hour and a half each way to meet with a jack*** PA that doesn't know that you can't have NSAID's after WLS. I'm sorry that you're still in pain and I know it has to be frustrating, wish I could help but all I can offer is to say a prayer for you!! I hope that something can be figured out soon for you Kat and you can get back to the buisness at hand (Ie getting to goal and getting married!!  I'm getting married soon too, so I know just how exciting that is!!) Good Luck and God Bless, I'll be praying for you!!
