Hi everyone I am somewhat new to the forum still. I am hoping to have the WLS. My first appointment to discuss it with my PCM is on Tuesday. *crosses fingers*

But what I wanted to post is, is that my aunt Lynn is overweight as well and her insurance doesn't cover WLS, but she lives in Oklahoma and one of the magazines locally is offering a contest to win a personal trainer and nutritionist and personal life coach. And the way she will win is if she has the most votes. I would love to see her win this because in my whole life 22 years I have never seen her so excited and motivated to lose weight. She is in the 350's and really needs this. She is a new mom, she was never able to have children of her own and then 2 years ago in April God blessed her with a child to adopt. I want to be able to see her raise Rylee up from a child but she has a lot of health issues and that may become difficult if she continues the way she is. Even if she doesn't win, I am sure the magazine will print articles on the progress of the winner, so that should give her hints on how to manage some things for herself on her own. So please tell her, never give up and keep her faith that she will be able to do what she needs to.
