Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  O/T Military and their Housing I am so frustrated with this housing area, thankfully we will be moving in a few weeks. Ok so last weekend our toiled in the master bath would not quit over flowing from the top of the tank so the water ran down the carpeted stairs. Mind you this is the only carpet in the house, the rest of the housing OLD crappy tile. Anyways The cleaners came and sucked up all the water and then the very next day it did the same, so finaly the repair man had enough since to replace the guts in the toilet tank, but still flooded again so cleaners came and sucked up all the water again. But now the carpet was really moldy smelling so I called and complained to housing, they said they'd have someone come in and rip it up and lay new carpet, I asked if they would just rip the carpet out and leave the pretty hardwood floors. No they wouldnt do it so today they come replace my carpet, guess what color it is? WHITE...  can you say insane, I mean we have no grass in our backyard only red dirt, so the dogs track in red dirt...ON WHITE carpet. Not to mention I have 3 kids...HELLO white carpet with 3 kids, why in the world would they do that? Everyone in my building has fully carpeted houses with BROWN carpet. Now if this carpet gets dirty we have to pay for them to replace it, we will only be here 2 weeks so why in the HELL couldnt they just wait and recarpet when we leave... Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Becka, Oh how I know your pain!!! My whole house is carpeted, and it a light light tan! Well, we just moved in 3 months ago, and our back yard is nothing but patches of weeds and a LOT of mud! So every time the dogs go out, and come back in, guess what?? I'm on my hands and knees scrubbing the carpet, and not to mention, I think the people that lived here before us had dogs, and the scent was in my extra bedroom, so they decided that they were gonna get rid of that smell by PEEING ALL OVER the extra bedroom, and i have used the steam cleaner humpteen times, and the smell won't go away! so, i am not telling housing, and im gonna rip the carpet up myself, and put tile down in there until we move, that way i dont have to pay for it twice! But I know exactly what you are talking aobut... dont worry about it, you are getting out of there soon! Hope you are doing well, talk to you later.

| hey there BECKAMARIE! i live on wheeler with the old tile and only stairs carpeted. SUCKS!! and they arent gonna move us to the new stuff til 2008. i had the RNY back in 2000 at ft.bragg,NC. love it! and i have NEVER regretted it. we might have seen each other around post. i go to the commisary like every other day. food goes bad faster than i can eat it so i just go often. anyway, i'm pretty much known for my very, very long RED hair. i saw your pic and you look so familiar to me. well, i would love to give you tons of info about the RNY. i remember being so anxious and curious before i got it. i wanted to be ready for anything that might happen. hope to hear from you! stacey

| You have to pay for Military Housing?? Boy times have changed. I lived in it when we were in Germany and we didn't pay anything. We also didn't get the housing allowance but it all worked out. I can't beleive you are paying 2,000.00 for crappy military housing. We are talking on post housing right?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Jeane yes it is on post, housing on post has been privatised now so we do get BAH but they take every penny of it for housing. That means you live in crappy housing an no matter whether you get 1000.00 for housing allowance or you get 2,000 for it you both live in the same crappy housing, my point of view is this...If I am paying 2,00 then I should have a 2,000 a month home..ie...a newer house. I think it should be split by what you pay not just beause they want there houses full.KWIM? Stacy If you have a pic I would love to see it, I may have seen you around. |

| Stupid contracting out. The Gov't thinks it saves them money but ends up costing them in the long run. I agree, I would be moving out to a place where I am getting my 2,000.00 worth. I have been bumped from a job or two in my career due to contracting out. No one wins except the contractor!
