My WLS was 12/8/06.....I have lost about 90-95 lbs, everything is going great. My question is what is everyone eating @ 5 months post-op? I want to compare what I am eating with what everyone else is eating or was eating at this stage. Please if anyone could take just a few minites and give me some info I sure would appreciate it

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Well i am nearly 2 years out and will say about were you are
was the first time i found gradual increases at times of what
i could eat.

TO this day i still note depending on the particular fook i eat how much
i can eat. USUALLY a protein...meat, chicken, pork, fish...fills me up the fatest...and holds me food.

BULKY foods watermelon, cool whip, canteloupe strawberries doesnt take
much i fill up....

HOWEVER, give me a food that mushies up well crackers, popcorn, pretzels
i can eat more and not get full after eating an amount tha alarms me.

ITs normal and were you are to slowly be able to eat a little more. We cant go on for life at that small amount of very early post op it was
malnourish us....YOUR doing great and congratulations on your weight
loss!
IF you eat your meals how most surgeons suggest you will be fine
eat your protein first....then a veggie and if any room a nibble or two
of the potatoe, noodle or carb loaded dish at the meal.
HOPE it helps!
I never measure my food but i did eat for 12 months out of baby food bowls!
good luck
