Default Nauseous...ugh

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

I am 7 weeks post op and for the past 2 weeks, I have had a constant nauseous feeling, all day, every day. I take Nexium every morning, but find that I still battle this underlying upset stomach feeling for the majority of the day. I am eating what I am supposed to and measuring out my portion faithfully. I have no other pain or discomfort....just feel like I could at any moment.

Hoping to hear from others with a similar experience....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

What does your doctor say? That is a long time to feel sick. I would check with him or her.

I would check with your doctor also. It could be dehydration or something else going on. Being nauseated all the time is no fun and I've been dealing with the same thing. I had 3 different things going on at once... Dehydration, stricture (narrowing of the connection between the stomach and the small bowel), and an ulcer. I hope you don't have any of these but it's best to be checked out. Please let us know how you're doing and hugs.

I don't know about some of the things these folks are talking about like ulcers and strictures..however, for a period of time I was pukey off and on, particularly in the am. I finally realized it was the multi-vitamins I was taking before meals. If I took them even a half hour before a meal I urped. Even the chewy ones. So, maybe that would help you. It would be nice to have a simple solution!! Feel better soon

Ask you surgeon, and see what he thinks. There could be some underlying physical condition, but it also could be just your functions readjusting to the new layout.
(((HUGS))) Hope you feel better soon.
