so it was brought up the thought of sitting on the bench Pree-op waiting for insurance or surgery dates or mabie doctor appt. I thought i would put this post up so if you are pree-op and waiting we could fill the bench. you could post here and its a good way of seeing who is pree-op because its hard to keep track of.

little about me I'm ashley. I'm 26 soon to have my 27 Birthday June, 16. I am pree-op 320 pound. I started this hole jerny at the end of january 2007. Im hopeing to get a surgery date for july or August. Still waiting on insurace aproval and appt scedual. o ya and i can't wait for medda fast 7 weeks of it. (pooooooooor some shake on meeeeeeeee)

I'm Anna and I am pre -op I am waiting to get my red blood cell count up and get medical clearance and then ins approval. I am hoping for surgery in late July early August.

Well here goes, my name is Renee I have completed everything except the 6 month supervised diet. I go in June for my second weigh in. I hope to lose something before I go. Anyway I hope to have the GBS in November or December of 2007. I decided to go for this Christmas of last year. I started with a surgeon consultation in Feb., I wanted to start earlier, but had a surgery I needed to recover from first. I weigh 267 and need to lose at least 15 pounds before the 6 months is up. Hi I am Becka 34 about to turn 35 on June 23rd. I have 3 kiddoes and a great hubby who is in the Army. Hi everyone. I am Michelle. I am going to be 40 on 7/18 so I am making that my target date. I've already had an appointment with the surgeon, got a denial for lapband and gbp surgeries. We are working on an appeal and should have everything submitted by next week. I got myself so stressed out about all of this, I ended up sick and my Meneire's (sp?) disease made my whole world spin. (literally). So now I am on the bench with all of you. 252# and counting...................
Waves at everyone. Hi Im Vickie. Im 41 years old soon to be 42 on May24th. I started researching this surgery 6 years ago and then finally was seen by a surgeon last Oct. 2006.He scared me to death. He's a state hopper. LOL . You DON'T want a Dr that moves around to different states alot. Its just not good. Im currently seeing Dr. Healthcliff Quioco located in Rocky Mt Virginia. Hes a very straight forward surgeon with a great track record and a wonderful staff. He will do my surgery at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem Virginia. I have been approved but I wont be having my surgery until The middle of September. This month was my choice. I could have had it done in June but because of work issues Sept was my only choice. I weigh 357 currently. I will try to get few pounds off by my surgery date. So I set on this bench with yall and wait until its my turn. This bench isn't so bad because of the wonderful people Im sitting with.

Hi I'm Barb and I just turned 53 on Monday. I've had my first group meeting at the surgeons and gone to see the psychologist. I'm waiting on the insurance to approve, then I'll need an endoscopy to make sure my peptic ulcer is gone and an ultrasound to look at my gallbladder. I'm hoping for sometime in July.
