The same thing happened to me last week. It arrived soaked in oil with a plastic wrapping around the whole mess that the Postal Service put on. They refunded my money but said they would no longer be selling on Amazon or anywhere outside their local area. Grrrr.

It sounds more like an issue of packing properly, rather than handling.
I mean, one should pack with the expectation that the handling will be rough.
I experienced a broken CD once, so, ever since, whatever I pack, I pack carefully and thoroughly, with lots of those plastic bubble. I keep all the plastic bubbles from packages that I receive, and even keep on hand documents that I have put through the paper shredder, so I have something that can I can use in case I don't have enough bubbles. Since then, I haven't had any issue with fragile gifts.

I was always of the belief that it is the shipper's responsibility to make sure something is packaged properly for shipping - she didn't even mark it as fragile!!!

For the sake of those who in the future might be tempted by her sales, you must leave accurate and honest feedback on this woman!! Amazon is also pretty good about policing people like this, so be sure to involve them, too.
