If you get a pain in your stomach eat a little bit like peanut butter and full. Then I will go about an hour and hungry again. Eat a bit and so on. I am getting my protein to 54 a day and that is about it. Getting most of my water too. Couple of times my pills go down and fly right back out. Nothing appeals to me. Can you survive by just eating your protein and water?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

My first thought is that you should talk to your Dr. I had something like this and had to have them open me twice more. An endoscopy (?). I am not good with the medical lingo. Then I saw the hungry after an hour and my suggestion would also have to include making sure you are aware of the differnce of hunger and desire. or "head hunger" and "body hunger". You have spent your whole life believing that you needed "x" amount of food. Now that you need so much less your mind is saying: "wait...I need more than that..." and makes you think you are hungry again.

I am not sure if I am explaining that well, but I hope that I am getting the thought across.

Either way: Talk to the Dr. That is always the first step. Your Dr. has seen something like this before and will know how to combate this.

You may have developed an ulcer or a stricture.
Talk to your surgeon and have it checked out. Yes, an endoscopy should probably be done.

I was going to say the same as Doc... it may be a stricture or an ulcer. I had had both and had similar symptoms. You need to talk to your doctor and probably have an EGD done. If it's just a stricture they can dilate it and hopefully one or two times of dilations and you'll be good to go. If they discover you have an ulcer they will probably put you on a PPI to help heal it. I hope everything turns out good for you. I know it's no fun having either or both of these but hang in there... it will get better! Keep us post on how your doing.
Hugs
PS. Do you have nausea along with the pain?

The ache in my stomach has subsided. The doctors assitant said to stick with what I am to eat.......which is soft foods.......eat when you feel you need to......I am eating little bits ant a time.......my pouch is full with a couple of tablespoons.....she said to try other food slowly and have some patience. Everyone is different and it looks like I will be taking a bit longer to adjust. So I will just take it easy. She said to call back if anything concerns me. That is why they are there.
