Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Try heating pads. Also call your surgeon and tell him it isn't getting any better.

Gas can be so painful. Non WLS people don't understand..."Gas??" they smirk.
But for us it can be an issue. I agree with the GasX and heating pads...but I also agree with Doc...call your doc. There may be more to it.

BTW, I'm 3 weeks out and still have some gas but it is minor compared to what it was that first week. Now going into my second week of puree foods. Also hot liquids helped a lot!

I agree that you should call the doc - if only to keep them aware of what's going on. I hope the pain subsides for you very soon.

Thank you all for the suggestions. My surgeon told me to take gas x a few times a day. My IBS is acting up with the fiber in the shakes. I did take extra Gas X today and feel so much better. Thank you for the help and suggestions.
