No..I decided against that one. He was a paint too. I also do not ride with tennis shoes on, but I was just going to look. LOL I didn't think she'd let me ride them out in the snow, but she did. On to a new chapter in my horse life! He is 7 years old. My Arabian was 26 when he passed. So I hope we will have a lot of good years together. The most amazing thing about all this is that I can get right up in the saddle! Not like before when I must have hurt my poor horses back.It took me forever to mount. Losing weight has more benefits than I ever thought of!!!

I'm glad you decided against the other horse CS. I think you would've been setting yourself up for some trouble with the laminitis. This horse will hopefully give you a lot of good years ahead. I sure wish I was in the financial position to have another horse right now but will have to be content with riding my neighbors horses for now.
Congrats on your new family member!
