Am I losing weight at the right pace? Some folks on this sight already lost alot more than I have and have had surgery around the same time I did. I was so proud of myself yesterday that I had lost 30lbs. My stomach is doing really well and I am exercising 3x's a week. Oh, now I see what is going on. I was at 262 before my operation so I am thinking in terms of pre-op and post-op.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Everyone loses weight at their own pace. It looks like you are averaging around 6lbs a week - I, personally, think that's great!! Hang in there and just remain focused on the rules and listen to your body. Great job!

My weight has moved slower than some people also. But usually the ones who lose faster are usually heavier. Also it is where they carry their weight. I was told that if you carry it in the middle you lose faster. I'm pear shaped and my top half is a lot smaller. My bottom half is shrinking too it's just slower. I'm still happy about my results. I'm not where I was hoping I would be by now but I'm not far. I think I'll make my next goal. If I don't I'm not gonna worry as long as I'm losing. Just focus on losing and not the amount.

You are doing fantastic! Even if the scale seems to be moving slow for you (which I don't think it is) I bet you are losing inches! Have you taken your measurements?

Thanks guys, your comments make me feel alot better. No I haven't taken any measurements but I didn't when I started so I don't know what that would be like but my pants are coming off without unzipping them. Wow Merrynail, you lost 75lbs in almost 4 months! That's amazing. I hope I can do that! Everyone is loosing so much weight!

I have found that you can't always go by what it says their start weight was on here because some of them are including what they lost before they had the surgery. I put the weight I was the day before the surgery. I think you are doing fine.

Don't compare yourself to others or you will make yourself crazy. Everyone starts at a different size and shape. Everyone has a different metabolism and everyone eats and tolerates foods differently. You are doing a great job! Pat yourself on your much-smaller back.
