Default Losing so slow.. getting discouraged.

I think I am very slow.. and have no idea why. I started dieting 11/17(shake diet), lost 15 before I went for surgery 11/30 I am now 2 months (9 weeks) out and have lost a total of 40 so 25 since surgery. I think that is really slow... average of not even 3 pds a week. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. People keep saying be patient but I really am getting discouraged. I was told over and over 3-5 pds a week, never thinking I wouldnt even make the 3 pd a week mark.

I have been working out a bit at home but joined a gym yesterday and went today.... I drink most of my water and calories are between 500 and 1000 a day. I have been tracking my food on Sparkpeople. Im not hungry for the most part.... do have a snack at night.... HELP.. INSPIRE ME.

Thanks

Anyone have any ideas?????

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You are doing great! When was the last time you lost 3 pounds a week? I know that before I couldn't even lose one pound. My weight loss has slowed down to about 2 pounds a week but I am thrilled with that. I know I am making progress and you are, too. Celebrate with me. We are both awesome!

Girl you are doing fine!!!!!!!! AND i bet physically you feel awesome, (which should be inspiration in and of itself). You didn't gain the weight in a day so you won't lose it in a week. Slow weight loss is good it means that you are doing EVERYTHING right. You are not starving yourself and your body is getting all the great things it needs. Please don't be discouraged.... You are well on your way to a more kickass you!!!

When i get discouraged, I always say to myself. "it's all a process" and it really really is.

Stay Up..

Hey, don't stress it! Everyone's different. I'm only 3 weeks out, and have only lost 10 since surgery, 28 total. My bariatric nurse told me that because I lost a pretty fair amount before surgery, the first little while after surgery will be slower, but I will start seeing a difference.

((((hugs)))) You aren't doing anything wrong, we all lose differently. My weight has been slow compared to lots of folks here at RR. I've had more stalls than I care to admit but we just have to hang in there and know that if we are following the rules the weight will come off. You are doing great, keep it up!!

You aren't alone. I'm in the same boat. I'm just happy I'm losing not gaining. It'll come off. Good luck and keep losing.
