I had my surgery 3 weeks ago today. I have suffered with migraine headaches since I was about 6 years old. Normally I would have one or two migraines a week. Since surgery, I have not had one migraine yet! I sure hope my luck holds! Has anybody else noticed a difference in their migraines either in severity or how often they get them?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Me! I had them for years! It's wonderful isn't it? I think the reason, for me is that I no longer drink diet sodas, haven't had a UTI since surgery either and I used to get them almost as often as I got migraines.

Congrats on losing those dang migraines! I haven't had them before unless I'm wrongly mistaking what I consider to be bad headaches. I still have them. Another member on here (Moto) still experiences bad migraines after surgery. I feel bad for her and hopefully hers will go away also.

Hugs

Yes!!! Now that it's been mentioned, I realize that I haven't had one since surgery, in fact since I started the pre-op diet. I soooooo hope it stays like this!!!!!

I've had them since I was 10. I can say the severity has gotten less. Its been two months since surgery and I've needed prescription migraine meds only 3 times...thats amazing for me. I think I was getting them more frequently and worse because of the crap i was putting in my body. I still have headaches nearly every single day, in fact I cant remember the last time I HAVNT had one, but they are not nearly as painful. I have FMLA at work just for the migraines and I havnt had to use a single day yet this year. Yeah!
