There is a new Social Group called the Teachers Corner. To find it, click on the Social Groups Link on the blue ribbon at the top of the page. When you click on the little red school house, you'll see a link to let you join the group. It really has little to do with our common interest in extreme weight loss. It has a lot to do with our other common interest in making this world a better place, one mind at a time.
There are a lot of us in education here. This social group is a place to share our common wisdom (?
) and experiences with each other. Some folks teach college, full time, adjunct or grad student. Some are in K-12 as teachers, teacher's assistants, volunteers, etc. (I'm sure that there are some techniques used in kindergarten, for instance, that might be of value for me in dealing with freshmen!
) There may even be some home schoolers here.
If you're a student yourself, you too are welcome. I was a non-traditional student too for most of my college years.
If you are involved in educating the young uns who will be running the world when we're drawing our pensions, drop in and join the group.
