| I just got a call from my surgery center, I have C-Diff. So now I have to take Flagyl 4 times a day for 7 days. Another pill to crush and try to find a way to mask the taste! I just started my second week so I am on full liquids. The best thing I found so far is my Unjury protein. Unfortunately I just ran out. I am headed out to the hospital pharmacy to pick up some Matrix Chocolate and Nectar. I hear the Fuzzy Navel is good so I'll try that. I have got to say, that I have this amazing energy that I don't think I've felt in 10 years or so. The problem is I can't do too much right now. Yesterday I thought that as long as I didn't lift it I could push the vacuum around a little. WRONG!!!! After about 5 minutes I started to feel some pulling on my incisions and stopped immediately. Looks like hubby is going to have to break down and do the vacuuming. I guess I need to pour all that energy in just taking a nice little walk. Now that I will be getting the diarreah taken care of I just may be able to do it

| Super Moderator | Clorstirdium difficile. It's a kind of bacteria that is the cause of pseudo membranous colitis. C.diff becomes the culprit when the regular flora of bacteria in the intestines is weakend or destroyed by antibiotics, to which C.diff is resistant to, so C.diff multiplies and releases toxins which destroy the intestinal membranes. (((((HUGS))))))) Spikey, take it easy, you are fighting the C.diff on top of still recovering from your surgery. Rest as much as you can, you'll be able to move around and do even more than you've ever imagined pretty soon, so take as much down time as you can for now.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Hi. Good to hear you are well. Eventhough you have energy, please rest. You will need it later on when you have to go back to "normal" activity. Walking is great excercise at this stage. I walked twice a day when i was home recovering. Helps the pounds fall off too. |
