This thing is really very cool!! It's compact and I clipped it to my bra strap all day yesterday: It tracks your steps for the day (yesterday was 12314), flights of stairs (yest 11)< I didn't believe this would work but I tracked them myself at work, and it's accurate. It tracks your calories burned also. The cool part is that it puts things into perspective:
1) graphs daily about your activity/sedentary times during the day
2) you can wear it to bed and track your sleep efficiency and how many times you wake up
3) I don't like the food tracker, it's database is lousy although over time you can add your own stuff.
It was all of $100 bucks, so take the plunge. It downloads wirelessly to your computer at the house, and the website is free. There are some extra features you can pay for, which I won't.

I think they use something called body bug or something- it's a lot more expensive than this was, but it might be a better product. So far I like this one.
