Well its been almost 4 months since my surgery. I have had no serious complications. Just some constipation that is MURDER on my hemmeroids. But alot is my fault for too little water. My weight loss has been on track and I feel really good, tons of energy.
But just the past few days Ive been going through the Im scared that i did something wrong. What if something happens to me. Very nervous and anxious. I just recent heard of someone dying due to a blood clot during surgery. Is that something that we have to be concerned about later after surgery?
Did anyone go thru this months after their surgery?
Im just scared and depressed. WHY? I cant tell you why im feeling like this.

Wow. seems like quite a few of us are going thru the downs right about now. I'm sure the doc can answer the blood clot questions. but as doe being drepressed, im there too. I cant explain it either. Everything is going great but for some reason i feel like i did something wrong. I second guess it constantly lately. All i can say is, some of the others suggested/ agreed with the idea of seeing someone (shrink) which might be helpful. Just know that you are not alone.
You are doing so well with your weightloss. I only hope that I am in your position in another 3 months.

Awww.
(((((((HUGS))))) to both of you.
Getting the blues while you are successfully losing is quite normal.
There'll be lots of mixed up emotions, both good and bad, and you will probably start wondering who you are, as well.
If you feel things are getting out of hand, it's best to seek help from a pro, and have some meds or therapy.
Your body's releasing a lot of hormones right now, so, part of this is like PMS on a bigger scale.
Once you find your footing, you'll start feeling better.
Take it one day at a time, and that will get you through.

((((HUGS MY FRIEND)))))
Well for me between months 3 and 4 the depression began. I would one moment be very happy, the next very weepy and anxious and moody. SO this is very normal.
You will find all kinds of things spark this off for you.
I know i never understood the "Y" to these moods when going thru it...i was like wow i am looseing rapidly why arent i HAPPY, but i wasnt. FOR that message boards
became very important, local support groups and
my weight management councling helped me to cope during difficult moody times.
I know for me it was very commone early out to worry what every pain is in the body and freak that something is wrong its a complication.....we all go thru this the fear of not knowing what can happen post op and all the things we doo hear.SOUNDS normal i would say if you find these moods are too much talk to you doctor and maybe meds can help.
ALOT goes on during rapid weight loss major hormonal swings!
ALSO have you tried the natrual herbal tea SMOOTH MOVE for the bathroom issues, i never had that problem but my surgeon first recommends useing that tea and i have heard many swear by it in our support group meetings.
HUGS!
miss ya

yma,
you may feel that you are not a shrink person, but I can tell you that trying to get through a bout of depression without some kind of help is not easy. I lived with this for a long time, and tryed to do it "myself" for way to many years! It just made me even more unhappy and contributed to my eating problem. You don't have to find a shrink, find a clinical social worker that you feel comfortable talking to and spend time with them. I have found some really cool ones that are very open and easy to talk too. Please don't try to get through this alone. The board will help, but don't let it get out of hand with out seeking some help.

| tip for organizing food for the DETOX 10 days wow...I'm also gonna give a tip here! I bought snack baggies last week so these are awesome for this detox take the portions to equal 3 oz and stick them in each baggie put the refrigerated stuff in the baggies in a box or big bowl or whatever in the fridge so that you don't have to THINK so hard!! It's less tempting! Mix up a gallon of your crystal light and set out the sugar free stuff so you know what you have to have for YOU each day.
---bree who just spent a good half hour organizing the kitchen. now I have to clean house since i'm home today!
