Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass     |  DID anyone catch the new TV show it was on a cable channel at 9:00 pm in my area of course check your listings for channel and times....(TLC for me) it was called BIG MEDICINE and they were following 3 people at different stages of gastric bypass.... 1. guy was about 650 lbs getting ready for the procedure. 2. A gal that weighed in the 300's and her first six months 3. then a gal that had arms and tummy work Im thinking each week will be new people and stories but was all obesity related. I did enjoy it ...i imagine the 650 guys storey will continue next week. Heres a link....we can get a thread going to discuss this show each week!!! TLC :: Big Medicine THE gal after her tummy tuck and showing herself off in a bikini actually sparked curiousity for me a bit to see such an after result.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | watched a 'pre show' to the TLC series.. I watched the pre show and just couldn't watch the other one the 625? lbs woman..that was pre to this and advertised for the new show. I watched the one with "connie" who had been over 600 lbs and went through the skin removal surgeries and her struggle. Unfortunately it wasn't the most "up" show for me to watch but it did make me feel very very fortunate regarding my skin which is NOT perfect by any means...  AND I now realize now how brave these women who go through the skin removals and all the PS they choose to do are. The issues with skin that isn't getting circulation and the risks of infection..wow..amazing and brave lady/ladies/gents --bree
