Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Whizzersmom....i had the surgery june 1, 2005, i am comeing up on two years post op on saturday. I have lost 167 lbs...and being the surgery is a tool i have to make good choices to maintain my weightloss. OVER the last months more and more carbs have krept into my eating so i have choosen to do this to get my eating back were it was so that i dont gain...I proly have a few i want off now i fit my same jeans but there feeling a bit tighter then last summer....so im getting my cravings in control.
PERSONALLY i am a carb addict....knowing this when i eat no carbs all my cravings and my uncontrolable eating leaves me so right now im getting control as i never want to go back were i been. hearing statistics that only 10 percent of bypass patients keep the weight off i am busting my butt to be in that 10 percent right now. ITs amazing but in 3 days i am more in control of my eating then i have been in the last few months.
I hope that helped.
BUT the surgery is a tool, i have lost and now i have to eat right and have good habits to keep it off forever!
I am trying my darndest!

Thanks Lisa it makes perfect sense. I did atkins about 3 years ago and lost 67 lbs in about 7 months but as I'm sure you know it didn't stay off. I'm a carb addict too! They are soooooo good but sooooo bad for you. Keep up the great work and I'm sure you will be in that 10%. I sure hope I will be once I have the surgery.
