Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass     |  being there for others Today i spent and hour on the phone with a lady from my church. She was scheduled to have surgery since 2000 and as chickened out every time. She said since seeing me it given her the motivation to have the surgery. She said it changed my whole out look on life and made me a happier person and that i am looking amazing right now. She asked me all kind of question about it she asked do you know how am feeling am scared> I said yes i do and i said 8 months ago it was the farthest thing form my mind. i was so scared i chicken out before but know i realized i need to do something to make me the better person. I need to bring out that person that was hiding in me covered by all the weight. I told her i talked to people i researched it and i joined a support group on line. And i went to a meeting and i prayed but once i got all the support and encouragement i knew i need to do. She said if i get my referral and i can go see the doctor will you come with me and support me go to my appointment and give the encouragement i need. It great to know i can now be there for other and having the surgery i know as made me a better person. I got more motivation then i have had in a long i feel great now. I only had my surgery 7 weeks ago but she asked me would you if you had do again and i said yes to feel this great and start looking good and feeling better yes i would. Eight months ago i would never taught this way. but compared to not walking without pain and being able to walk over 2 miles and feeling good again. I owe a lot to all you in here too you all were here for me now i can be here for others. You all give me support when i need it every day and give me so much encouragement,   to all of you . |

IT is nice to have someone and be surrounded with people that understand this journey! IT is scary to have such a major surgery. Better to have that what a good something, not a bad something, and it's so gratifyting to know that what we do eventually help others whom we know nothing of. Franny, I'm sure you'll be sooo much good for the lady, and she in return will be sooo much good for someone else. Doesn't it feel great to be able to touch the lives of others in this way? This is one of the gifts of this surgery, not just the physical change in you, but the wings you've been given. (((((HUGS)))))
