Default bad day yesterday

Thank goodness this doesn't happen often. Yesterday I literally continplated going to the emergency room. I had been nursing a migraine most of the morning. by time i got home it was full blown. I had to eat something and knew it, sooooo I opt for the organic peanut butter......bad move. all night long. I was sweating and barfing and cramping so bad I thought I was going to die. at 3 this morning I had the foamies. I couldn't take anything until six this morning when my pouch finally calmed down enough for me to do a Tylonol rapid blast.

hot peppermint tea for me this morning. migraine is better but still there. I believe I am going to visit my Dr. for a lil check up.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Default I hope all is well

I hope all is well. Do go to the doctor. Never understimate or doubt what you are feeling. It is far better to be overly cautious and fix a potential problem early on. Good luck and I'm sur all is and will be fine. God Bless!

SORRY you had a migraine my hubby had one yesterday....
but stinks when then your pouch flares up.

SHOULD never ignore anything....when your pouch acts up
should be discussed with doctors. . I had a friend online?and in my local support chapter who had a few bouts
with unexplained pain and spasms and just found out how serious
all this was she had going on for months...they finally realized
she had a hernia in a location that wasnt too safe...

Petersen's Hernia (Defect), which, for those of you who are medically savvy, is between the Transverse mesocolon and roux limb mesentery. It happens when lots of weight is lost rather quickly. The original sutures no longer have all that fat to hold on to. So...a small opening occurs, and the pain happens when the intestine pops through the hole. That is VERY dangerous!

SHE had surgery immediately but battled unexplained painful bouts...now this is just one of many things i have heard. SO no pain POST op few months should be there and if you have you have to be aggressive and
have tests done and done till they find answers.

HOPE ur feeling well and sorry just wanted to remind people to not ignore
pain!!! USUALLY there is a medical reason and amongst my gastric friends lately im seeing alot of people undergoing problems and more surgeries. THESE folks were blown off some till they couldnt take the pain attacks and got answers

I hope you are starting to feel better. I couldn't imagine having to deal with a migraine and on top of that a sick pouch. I hope you feel better soon!

No migraine here but a stomach bug from hell. Bad bad cramping right below the center of my rib cage and diahrrea and barfing. On day 3 now. But since I am preop not worried about my BIG POUCH. But postops must always take precautions and don't take "It's nothing" for an answer. It is something and demand to know what that something is. No time for guess work. You're a smart girl and I am sure you will be fine. Let us know what the Doc says. Hope you are feeling better. Mattie
