Right now I have not been able to take liquid tylenol because the HFCS makes me dump pretty bad. That may change once I'm further out post op. I have heard there is a sugar free liquid acetaminophen but so far I've not seen it in a store anywhere. Anyone have an idea where it can be found? I'm hoping my PCP can give me something for the arthritis in my back. Maybe those patches I read about earlier might be the ticket...

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I had to write this twice. Grrr.

Okay. I am hoping someone is still reading this. Is there a giant master list or IS this the whole list. I am a migraine person almost all my life. It has gotten worse since I have gotten older. I am on prophylactic meds (meds I take daily to prevent migraines) and then I have my triptan (Maxalt) and when that doesn't work I have my rescue meds which are phenegren (nausea) and hydrocodone and if that doesn't work a trip to the dr. office. I do not take over the counter per my dr. It causes clusters and rebounds.

Any thoughts? (not that I am trying to laying all my medical history out on the table)

Well I am not sure what to say about this other than... perhaps before taking any of these or any medication that you consult with your doctor. I have been prescribed ibuprofen, I have been on antidepression NSAID medication, and other antiflamatories. I have not had troubles.

Problem is, there are a lot of drs out there who do not realise that there are medications that can be harmful to those who have had stomach surgery for one reason or another.
NSAIDs are well known for causing ulcers--in fact, all products carry caution labels, plus we've had a few members who've had very serious ulcer issues as the result of being put on NSAIDs for pain control.
Whatever medications you are prescribed, check yourself if there is any reference to ulcers as a side effect and if you find one, remind your dr that the warning is there.
