Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Amy I have BAD hemmeroids. A few weeks ago mine was so swollen and painful. I went to the doc and she said until its hard and the blood isnt flowing through it anymore they wont cut them out but mine was still soft and had blood flowing. I ended up in the ER cuz I couldnt walk sit stand lay anything and while I was waiting it popped. It felt much better. But now I have another flair up. Let me know if you get it taken care of |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Ok so Im not alone.. LOL. Ladies... Nothing is more embarrising to me than going to the Dr for this. I have had to. They give me a steroid cream to use. It didnt help. I searched the internet and asked only my closest friends what if anything helped. Ok i Dont wanna get gross here so if your reading this and dont want to STOP NOW! Yes you can at times get them cut off. Like Becka said only when there hard and the blood is not moving. Im sure it would hurt to an extent. The pain you would feel would be from the needle to numb it. Somthing I have found that helps me when i get a flare is this. First of all never ever use Toilet Tissue. I have personally went an bought a 20 pack of Face Cloths to use in this instance. There cheap if bought in blulk. Run cold tap water wet it good and squeeze it out. Then wipe gently. Make sure you get around the Roid well. A hot bath is good for them. You have to massage them. SORRY !!! I dont know how else to put it. This should bring some relief. Acutally if you can do this 3-4 times daily it will help emensly. You Dry them really well gently. Then use this. You can find it out any Health food store. Horse Chesnut Cream or Oitment. I have never had luck finding it at Walmart etc. You can find Hemmorid creams that have it in it. Hemmorid does. However i would use the straight Horse Chesnut Use this on them. Or if you have any Bactroban oitment or cream it helps to. Mine have hurt me so bad i had to be put on Vicodin for it. YES Vicodin !! My Dr explained them to me as this. There Verocose Vains. But not on your legs. How do you keep from getting them? Stool Softners. If you noticed you havnt went like you should. Start using them. Miralax is a very good one now they sell over the counter. Its a powder you mix with juice or water. You dont taste it. It was precription. Yes I was precribed that for when mine flared so bad I was put on Vicodin. And then asked the Dr for a Rx to keep on hand. When i know Im not going like I should i start Drinking that once a day. It dont make you have Diahrrea. As you know that can be as bad as not moving. I hope this helped some? Some of the info come from my Drs office but most of it come from people who deal with this all the time. The peoples suggestion was the best and the Miralax from the Dr was a life saver. Here is a place you can order it Planetary Formulas Horse Chestnut Cream -- 2 oz - Vitacost I found this when reseaching what would help. If you read up on this you will see alot of people use the pills or the cream for varicaose veins. Hence Hemmorids. That is what they are. I have never tried the pills. Just the cream and its a GOD send. Alot of Asian countrys use this for this reason.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Hey guys thanks for the feedback. I have been on stool softeners plus fibre con still no relief from the hard BM. I did buy the mirilax but havnt tried it yet. I also get in enough water at least 64 oz of not more. Im gonna try adding more fruit to my diet. im gonna try the cream you recommended vicki. I just never know when its gonna flare up and it drived me crazy casue its alwys at the wrong times. Warm baths do help greatly but now always able to take one when they flare up. i have a appt with the urologist next week. Ill see what he has to say. But i do have to say you guys seem to have it much worse than me. Maybe im being too much of a baby |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Na Because honey They will only get worse unfortunalty. These have been comming on me now for years. I only have one. Just one is enough. LOL you know what I mean. Honey please try the Miralax. It should not have no taste. Mine never has. Its easy on the tummy and dont make you roll in the tummy like laxitives. I promise you once you start having easier movements....Your Hemmorids will start clearing because they are not as irritated. I understand the part about not always getting to take a bath. Honey my home has one of them Fiberglass tubs that are made to fit normal people LOL. I still can get in and out but its tougher. Nothing like the big claw foot I grew up using. Ps......when I made mention of the face Clothes.... I do throw them away. I thought I needed to add that part. LOL. Yes honey have them check it for you. If you ever get what they call a Fissure from this you will be in pain. AKA like a crack from bearing down so hard. Let me know how the Miralax goes ok? I really wouldnt guide you wrong on this. I myself im afraid will have to have mine removed one day. |

| Super Moderator | ((((((HUGS)))))) yma. There are creams, but there also are suppositories for them, you could ask your dr for a prescription. Incidentally, an urologist won't be able to help you much there, the person to see is a GI surgeon who specializes in the colon and rectum, rather than the upper GI tract, which is what bariatric surgeons are. If it gets really bad, it probably is best to have it surgically removed. I have had some patients who've had theirs removed, and they all are happier for it.

| Super Moderator | A fissure is a split. That hurts, too, and a new fissure will close and heal, but sometimes, it won't heal completely, and a small tunnel will remain. If this happens, then it has to be surgically closed to relieve the discomfort.
