Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
Welcome! Believe me, the closer your date gets the more nervous you will become. Just take it easy and follow the "rules". The most important thing we can tell you right now is after it's over....WALK WALK WALK. Oh and sip sip sip!!! lol Good luck!!!
I agree with Chilly that is the best advice. If you have specific information please feel free to ask. This board will give you all the information you need!
Welcome to the board! I am glad I had the surgery even with the lifestyle change and some occasional bad days. I guess the secret to success is knowing beforehand that this is what you really want to do. I finally reached that point about six months before my surgery date after trying every other possible alternative with no success. If you're sure this is what you want than even with bad times or setbacks you will be happy with your decision Good luck
I CANT REALLY GIVE MUCH ADVICE BECAUSE MY DATE ISNT UNTILL 7/16 BUT I WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME YOU AND WISH YOU LUCK!! YOU WILL LOVE THIS GROUP THEY ARE GREAT!!! ITS LIKE WE ARE ONE BIG FAMILY.
I WISH WE ALL LIVED CLOSER TO ONE AN OTHER.
Welcome Wlecome Welcome. Congratulations on getting your date. the best advice is be ready to exercise and understand that this doesnt happen over night. You have to do your part and be prepared to do so mentally AND physically.
You are going to love it here. There are plenty of people here for support and to answer questions. Everyone has been thru something at some point so we all share experiences. Again, welcome to the boards!
Thanks to all. I guess this is normal. Has anyone you know have lost too much weight? I am also concern about loosing and not stoping. maybe the doc here can answer this for me. Is the size of the pouch something exact or depends on the surgeon.
