Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  I need HELP!!!!  Why is it that when TOM is visiting I can't seem to stop eating?? I just seems like i'm always hungry and it seems like I can eat more than other times of the month. I'm in a panic i'm trying to stick to healthy snacks but it just seems like I can not get full. Does anyone else go through this?? |

BREN if you find the fix for that do let me know! THATS my hardest week of the month just before TOM. AND what stinks is since the surgery my cycles are 21 days not 28 so i feel like everytime i turn around its that week again that my appetite goes crazy! I can fully relate, and the surgery hasnt totally helped this matter for me too! its very noticably to me and i dont have good advice on this one! okay and i will also add that that pre tom time i also can gain 7 to 8 lbs in bloat!!! which stinks tooooooo

The increase in appetite may have something to do with the stress cycle of your mind. Stress level goes up with PMS, before surgery, your stress coping cycle probably involved food...so with the raised stress, it comes back. Just a thought, but maybe SSRIs can help relieve some of it, though I advice you not to do it by yourself, if you have a psych dr or a therapist, talk it over and see if they agree to let you give it a try.
