First off, I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the support you've given. I've been doing a lot of whining lately. I think I am just in a funk to be honest. I dont think its anything serious at all. But I just wanted to thank everyone for their Kind words and concern. Today was a good day. Yes I still hate my job and the people who work there BUT I myself had a very good day. I wasnt overly tired. I got in most of my protein and water BEFORE lunchtime and I was just content for once. I hope to make tomorrow as good as today I have come to grips with the fact that I may have stalled out. It's ok. I know in time the scale will move again. I may also be tired but not defeated. But I am not giving up. I have 67lbs to goal. That might sound like a lot, but to be honest, it's the closest I've been to my weight goals since I was a teenager and I'm simply not giving up. Again thanks to you all. I am SO HAPPY i found this site. ONWARD! |

I like what Ms. vickie says........when you think of carrying 4 -- 10 pound bags of surgar thru the grocery store, that is alot of weight. Good thinking Vickie. And Kenyar your doing so good and you do have a super good attitude. Hang in there and you will move on past this plateau. Did you read Lisa's not e about the stairs. I thought that was good. |

I sure did. And it's part of what put my mind at ease. I'm not going to stress over it. The fat will fall off again soon enough!

Remember too this all takes time..it's only been what? 2 months pretty much and you've lost an amazing amount of weight girl! Don't get down about that..and believe ME it is only the beginning. Remember too...we lose for a long time..up to 2 years depending a lot on what we do postop..exercise, eating etc..and during those 2 years time, the body goes through 'adjustment periods' it's like it's gotta take a breath and let go again. it's not over hon! I promise you that girl..I do! O thought I was pretty much done when it was a year post..but noooooo not at all. --bree

(((((HUGS)))))) Time now for your body, and mind as well, to adjust to your progress. A little breather. You'll find yourself and your scale moving soon enough. Look at the posts of the post ops who've had their first surgiversary on board. It is an amazing journey. You're doing well.
