 |  a quick question...... Hi everyone. Being fairly new here and so impressed with this site, I only want even more! I have been to more threads in more forums on this site than I can count and have seen several of you refer to 'other' WLS sites that you frequent as well as this one. My question is, would you all share the other sites? I would like to gather as much information as possible before my surgery date and the more sites I can go to that are recommended, the better. | Thanks for the input. I registerd at Obesity Help to join the message board for my surgeon. Hopefully there are other sites out there. I certainly don't expect to find one as thorough as this one is but it is fun for me being pre-op to check out all possiilities. |

| Super Moderator  | ObesityHelp is the largest and earliest board of this kind, as far as I know. There also are Yahoo groups, though I've never checked them out, I have heard people mention them. Do a search, and you'll probably come up with something. It's not such a bad idea to check other places--you get second opinions for important stuff, right? -- but we admins/mods of the board sure hope you'll make this your home base, even though you may give other places a vist from time to time.

I have friends that i have made on that site. THATs were i actually met tantesta and littlelisamarie who post here. In my NEW YORK forums there. BUT i post mainly here. I like the smaller more personal touch of this board.
